How can I get more information?
If you would like to read more information about the specific trips CLICK HERE and select your trip of interest. If you would like to contact the travel coordinator directly CLICK HERE.
Where can I go?
Not every CTE trip is open for traveling teams. We often go to highly dangerous places and feel that it is best only to take a skeleton staff crew. However we purposefully plan several trips to safer destinations throughout the year that are open to the public. We highly recommend these trips and we know that it will be a life changing experience for you. To view a list of the trips being offered at this time CLICK HERE.
Is there any training required?
Yes…our teams are trained on location for the ministry functions that they fulfill. No prior experience is required…we will teach you what you need to know.
How can I find out deadlines, costs, itinerary etc.?
CLICK HERE to view a list of the available trips and click on your trip of interest. For more information CLICK HERE to contact the trip coordinator.
Can I bring my own group?
Absolutely! We welcome youth groups, church groups, families, etc. Group leaders (hosts) may be eligible for scholarships. For more information CLICK HERE to contact the trip coordinator directly.
How long will we be gone?
Most of our team trips last no more that ten or eleven days. For specific dates please CLICK HERE and select your trip of interest.
Is it safe?
There is always a potential for danger when traveling, however, we take great care to ensure that our groups are very safe and secure. We often hire security to accompany our teams as they go out to minister and local Christians and pastors will help to look after all of our guests.
What will we eat?
Our teams eat the best food available. This will vary from village to village and from city to city, but as a general rule, you will experience the tastes and flavors of the region without being exposed to dangerous food. The cost of the food is included in your trip cost.
Where will we sleep?
Accommodations will vary from trip to trip, but because of the nature of most of our ministry destinations our hotel or lodge will usually be well below western standards. You will not enjoy many of the conveniences that you take for granted every day, but after all, this isn’t a vacation…Its missions.

Is there a dress code?
Yes…it is a simple concept; dress comfortably but ALWAYS MODEST. Whenever engaged in ministry activities the dress code is business casual. For those involved in platform ministry the dress code is formal. In Muslim countries the dress code is stricter, men should always wear slacks and women should wear long loose fitting dresses (covering the knees and elbows) and headscarves during services (just the hair). No shorts, tank tops, mini-skirts or tight or revealing clothes of any kind will be permitted.
When should I start the process?
Right now! We often begin planning these trips up to a year in advance. There is always a limited amount of space and so the earlier you let us know that you are interested, the better. CLICK HERE to contact the trip coordinator.
How do I get the process started?
It is as simple as a phone call or an email. CLICK HERE to fill out our online form and receive your introduction and application packet in the mail. Or if you prefer you can contact the trip coordinator directly via phone or email CLICK HERE
